A teenage girl has been accused of being ‘gang raped’ in the hilly district of Khagrachhari in Bangladesh. Protests have been taking place in Khagrachhari for two days after the incident came to light three weeks ago.

Seven Tripura ethnic groups and various ethnic groups are holding this protest.

The father of the ethnic girl filed a case against six people last Wednesday night, and immediately after the case, Khagrachari police arrested four people on charges of rape at around 3 am.

According to the latest information, the victim, a teenage girl, attempted suicide and her condition deteriorated. In that condition, she was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital on Thursday.
